Global IT Operations Specialist We are seeking experienced professionals to support our global IT operations, infrastructure management, and enterprise system environments. This is an ideal opportunity for engineers who want to work on complex systems, networks, and cloud environments. Our fully remote freelance roles offer flexibility and consistency in a long-term engagement. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain Linux or Windows servers across development, testing, and production environments. Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of critical applications and infrastructure. Troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and resolve incidents quickly. Set up, configure, and maintain virtual machines, cloud instances, and on-prem infrastructure. Manage users, permissions, and security policies across systems. Apply patches, updates, and upgrades for OS, applications, and security components. Support network troubleshooting, firewall rules, VPN access, and connectivity issues. Minimum Qualifications Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience as a System Administrator. Strong knowledge of either Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL) or Windows Server administration. Experience with user management, permissions, and system security best practices. Ability to troubleshoot hardware, OS, and network issues. Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM). Understanding of backup, recovery, and storage systems. Preferred Skills Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible). Experience with Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP. Hands-on experience with endpoint management tools: Intune, SCCM, Jamf.
