As part of this role, you will be responsible for analyzing existing bots developed in Automation Anywhere and assessing their complexity for migration. You will re-engineer and develop equivalent automation solutions using Power Automate Desktop, ensuring that all functional requirements are preserved or enhanced. Collaborating closely with business users and process owners, you will gather process requirements and validate the accuracy of automated workflows. You will also create detailed documentation for each migrated process, covering process maps, exception handling, and logging mechanisms. In addition, you will perform unit testing, support user acceptance testing (UAT), and optimize automation performance while implementing robust error handling practices. Version control and proper change management procedures will be maintained throughout the migration process.The primary skills required for this position include deep expertise in Microsoft Power Automate Desktop, particularly in building complex flows that involve desktop connectors, data handling, and scripting. A strong understanding of RPA principles and best practices such as modularity, error handling, and logging is essential. You should also have the ability to automate tasks involving Windows applications, browsers, Excel, Outlook, and file systems within the PAD environment.Additional experience with Automation Anywhere (version 11 or A360) is highly valued, particularly in understanding bot architecture, control room operations, and task bot functionality. Familiarity with Power Automate Cloud flows and the broader Microsoft ecosystem including tools like PowerApps, SharePoint, and Dataverse is a plus. Knowledge of scripting languages such as VBScript, PowerShell, or JavaScript used within PAD, along with experience in RPA process assessment and documentation, would further strengthen your candidacy.
