DESCRIPTION: Focus Geospatial Private Limited is a fast-growing Geospatial and Engineering company with an expanding geospatial division. We're seeking a qualified Geospatial Business Analyst to generate new business opportunities while fostering relationships with new customers. This is an opportunity to work with a dynamic and growing team using advanced technological solutions. With the support of our expert technical team, project managers, and engineers, the Business Analyst will be a vital link between our team and our customers.The Business Analyst will have successfully demonstrated business development capabilities representing geospatial services within a particular region, vertical market or federal space. A background in the geospatial profession including LiDAR, aerial imagery, photogrammetry, or GIS services is also required. A successful candidate will have a four-year degree in a related field and at least one plus years business Analyst experience within the profession.RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop recurring geospatial business opportunities and sales new to Focus GSPLEstablish a customer network focused on decision-makers in order to develop business focused on aerial and terrestrial geospatial data collection, analysis, Architectural and GIS servicesResearch, investigate, and produce winning strategies for future contracting opportunitiesWrite proposals, provide ROMs, and develop project scopesTrack customer interactions, opportunities and maintain the Database.Manage changes to project scope via change orders and internal/external communicationsSupport business development activities including, but not limited to, representing the company in client meetings and conferences, and by fostering the development of long-term relationships with new and sustained clients, as well as partner companiesProvide detailed reports and tracking of leads, opportunities, and closed salesCommunicate business development activities and provide weekly report out to VP, Geospatial TechnologiesMaintain oversight of projects throughout lifecycle to ensure client expectations are met and client experience is positiveAssist with marketing and branding efforts by providing input to marketing team and participating in marketing events and webinarsWork as part of the business development team to assist in improving and growing the geospatial technology group to help with the success of Focus GSPL as a wholeWork closely with the Geospatial Processing and Architectural Team to keep up to speed with capabilities and align with customer needKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:Excellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent customer service and organizational skills including attention to detail, multitasking, and reportingA general understanding of how to get from trajectory to deliverableComfortable using and learning a wide range of LiDAR, Imagery, Photogrammetry, REVIT-BIM, AutoCAD and GIS softwareStrong technical knowledge to understand client needs, translate into a clear scope of work, and understanding of Focus GSPL workflow and deliverablesAbility to work well with a team and independentlyWillingness to work in rotational shifts.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:1+ years of Business Analyst experience and geospatial sales and marketing can be an advantage.Bachelor's degree in Engineering, business administration, marketing, or geospatial related degreeDemonstrated experience in developing new and recurring geospatial data products and services businessPrior experience as a key growth influencer/driver in high-growth professional geospatial solutionsA strategic thinker with a keen ability to make recommendations to move the business forwardOutstanding communication skills, presence, and energyMust be comfortable with geospatial software applications with the ability to present high-level product solutionsCompelling presentation skillsBENEFITS:5 Working Days in a Week.Career and professional development opportunities.A competitive compensation package, Attractive incentive, PF, ESIC/medical benefits with a company match.Work with an extraordinary team of intelligent, creative, and highly motivated people.
