Responsibilities:
This position essentially drives customer relationships and engages in sales activities.
It is primarily a sales role which will serve our customers virtually and will focus on aftermarket products.
- Act as primary aftermarket customer contact point, lead relationship and account management and customer support activities
- Focus on proactive selling activities of aftermarket products, such as parts, service labour and simple upgrades. Communicate value to customer and converting to bookings
- Run sales plays with accounts in your customer portfolio, reaching out about potential value we can provide the customer and converting to bookings
- Creation and execution of account plans for larger customers as required
- Developing and maintaining customer contact and network through primarily virtual means (i.e., leveraging modern sales technology and digital tools to engage customer, business travel by exception and not expected)
- Represent & promote equally all Lines of Business brands/technologies according to customer installation
- Possessing product knowledge and able to advise customer on simple technical questions
- Ensuring co-ordination within Norican business to achieve timely and accurate support of customer’s needs and requests
- Preparation and presentation of regular account sales reviews, forecasts, and other management reporting
- Update CRM and other IT systems as required to reflect our customer contacts
- Proactively analysing and drawing insights from sales tools to understand customer needs and convert these into sales success
- Proactive gathering & maintenance of relevant business intelligence on account and entry into relevant CRM or other system in structured form
- Creation, follow-up and expediting of offers and orders
- Associated tasks as required
Experience and Qualifications:
- Familiarity and mastery of digital engagement tools (e.g., Teams calls, Zoom, CRM) to be able to run sales calls digitally.
- Past sales or commercial operations experience preferred.
- Graduate in Engineering or any other stream with 3 to 5 years of sales experience with excellent communication skills.

KPI’s:
- Outbound calls to accounts listed in your account portfolio
- Conversion of said calls and contact points to bookings
- Quotes and bookings from provided sales plays
- Orders, sales, and gross margin of allocated ‘House’ accounts
- NPS, on-time delivery of allocated accounts
- Number and value of claims
