Activities / Responsibilities:
Model Expertise: Create models with hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Dynamic Understanding: Analyse machine dynamics and prepare models using equations of motion for linkages, gears, forces, friction, etc., along with circuit equations for sensors and actuators, and fluid equations for flow and pressure.
Graphical Simulation: Create graphical simulations to build block diagram representations of systems.
Dynamic Equations: Derive equations or functions from block diagrams that describe the dynamics of each component.
Program Parameter Sheet: Prepare parameter sheets to develop PLC functions for efficient operation.
Profile Generation: Create profile generators for velocity, speed, and other relevant functions.
Model Validation: Validate models by comparing simulation results with real-world data or known benchmarks, refining the model iteratively based on outcomes and testing.
Collaboration: Work closely with teams such as software engineering, mechanical engineering, and hydraulic engineering to integrate models and functions.
Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives to enhance the efficiency, quality, and innovation of models.
Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of design specifications, test results, and project progress, providing regular reports and updates to stakeholders.
Customer Engagement: Conduct visits to customer sites and collaborate within the group as needed for business requirements.
Qualifications:
M.Tech Electrical or Mechanical or Master of Science in Mathematics or Physics from a reputed institution with a strong academic record. Additional qualifications, such as certifications or advanced degrees, will be considered an advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum 12 years’ experience in simulation and modelling, preferably in the development of machines or electromechanical systems.
- Proficiency in MATLAB, Siemens Simit, VisSim software and PLC programming.
Position Interfaces with: Project Managers, Disa India & Group companies cross functional colleagues.
