Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager – Police Vertical to drive sales of our analytics and digital solutions to Indian police forces and public safety agencies. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in selling technology or analytics solutions to state police departments and a strong understanding of government procurement and stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within state police departments, Home Departments, and public safety organizations.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to closure for analytics and digital policing solutions.
- Drive revenue growth in the police vertical by achieving sales targets and strategic account penetration.
- Build strong relationships with senior police officials, Home Department decision-makers, and IT heads within law enforcement agencies.
- Conduct product presentations, solution demos, and proof-of-concept engagements to demonstrate value.
- Navigate government procurement processes including tenders, RFPs, empanelment, and contract negotiations.
- Collaborate with internal teams (pre-sales, legal, delivery) to ensure timely and compliant submissions.
- Monitor trends in digital policing, crime analytics, and public safety technology adoption.
- Provide regular reports on sales progress, forecasts, and customer feedback.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 5+ years of sales experience, with at least 3+ years in selling data analytics, SaaS, or digital transformation solutions to Indian police or public sector clients.
- Proven track record in government sales, particularly within the police and home affairs ecosystem.
- Strong understanding of public sector procurement cycles, tendering processes, and government decision-making.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across India as per business needs.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, or related fields. MBA is a plus.
- Familiarity with CCTNS, Safe City Projects, surveillance systems, or crime analytics platforms is highly desirable.
