About the Role:
Navtara is seeking a talented Cluster Chef (Jr. Sous Chef) to oversee the culinary operations for a cluster of outlets. This role requires a passionate individual who can maintain and elevate our high standards of quality, taste, and consistency across all outlets in their cluster.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee kitchen operations across multiple outlets, ensuring adherence to Navtara’s recipes, quality standards, and hygiene protocols.
• Train and mentor outlet-level kitchen teams, focusing on skill development and efficiency.
• Conduct regular audits for food quality, inventory management, and compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with the Executive Chef to introduce new menu items and refine existing ones.
• Manage food cost and wastage while ensuring availability of key ingredients.
• Act as a bridge between outlet chefs and the Executive Chef to ensure seamless communication and execution.
What We’re Looking For:
• 5-8 years of culinary experience, preferably in vegetarian cuisine or high-volume kitchens.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills to manage kitchen staff at various outlets.
• Excellent knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to handle pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A proactive and innovative mindset with a passion for culinary excellence.
