Role & responsibilitiesJ ob Title: Territory Sales ManagerDepartment: Sales & MarketingLocation: Tamil NaduReports to: Regional Sales ManagerPreferred candidate profileRole Purpose:To execute the agreed sales and marketing plan in the assigned territory by achieving volume and value targets, strengthening distribution networks, enhancing customer engagement, and delivering financial and operational KPIs.Key Responsibilities:40 % Implementation of Sales Plan in assigned territory: Achieve sales targets as per plan;; Monitor stock availability and provideforecast accuracy.15 % Deliver Financial Measures as per plan: Netback to Port, Cost control through primary freight; Working Credit Limit   Adherence; Reduce   collection time and charges; subsidy, mFMS and Govt. liaising10 % Logistics and Supply Chain: Coordinate rake planning and execution for the territory15 % Customer Focus: Customer contact at distributor and retailer level: Set up distribution network across the territory; segmentdistributors; resolve general customer issues; reconciliation of accounts and invoices20 % Execution of Marketing Plan & Impact Measurement in assigned territory: Identification of innovative growers, organizegroup meetings and conduct trials at farmers fields; conduct promotional activities; find alternative channels for increasingproduct reach to the farmers level.EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE:2-5 years post qualification with similar experienceCOMPUTER SKILLS: MS Office, PresentationOTHER SPECIALIZED SKILLS & ABILITIES(i.e., leadership, communication, interpersonal,etc):Basic understanding and Experience in rural marketsAggressive and proactive in approachPositive team playerNegotiation SkillsCommercial AcumenAbility to multitask and prioritizeWillingness to work in rural markets with retailers.This position is that of an individual contributor. It involves extensive travel in the assigned territory
