Job Title: Senior Medical Content Writer

Location: Central Mumbai - Vikhroli

Role Summary

As a Senior Medical Content Writer, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, scientifically accurate, and regulatory-compliant content across a range of therapeutic areas and content formats. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex clinical data into compelling messages for healthcare professionals (HCPs), patients, and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop clear, concise, and accurate medical content for a variety of formats, including:
- HCP communication: Detailers, leave-behinds, monographs, MOAs, slide decks
- Patient communication: Educational material, FAQs, websites, brochures
- Digital content: eDetailers, websites, apps, social media, emails
- Internal training and medical strategy documents
- Interpret scientific literature, clinical data, and product information to generate high-quality content.
- Ensure all content meets regulatory, legal, and ethical standards (MCI, OPPI, DCGI, etc.).
- Collaborate with medical reviewers, designers, editors, and account teams.
- Support pitches and new business development with medical insight and content planning.
- Stay updated on medical developments, journal publications, and industry trends.

Requirements:

- 47 years of experience in medical writing/content development in healthcare/pharma advertising, medical communications, or clinical settings.
- Strong background in life sciences (BPharm, MSc, MBBS, or equivalent required; advanced degrees preferred).
- Ability to simplify complex scientific concepts without losing accuracy.
- Familiarity with referencing tools (e.g., PubMed), citation styles, and medical guidelines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong project management and time management abilities.

Qualifications:

- Experience in a wide range of therapeutic areas.
- Working knowledge of global guidelines (e.g., US FDA, EMA) and international brands.
- Familiarity with digital platforms and content strategy.
- Attention to detail with a passion for scientific accuracy and narrative flow.
