RC - Zonal Credit Manager - B2C - Rural Credit INTERNAL USAGE No of Vacancies Reports to National Credit Manager Is a Team leader Y Team Size 20 to 30 Grade Business Corporate Center Department Retail Credit Sub-Department Rural Credit Location About Rural Credit Rural Lending is a part of Retail Credit and caters to all financial needs of the Rural Clientele including Farming community Farm Mechanization ie Tractor Harvestor Traders Processors mostly based out of Rural Semi Urban areas along with the credit needs of the industries dependent on the Agriculture allied activities and MSME businesses based in rural areas and Micro Finance which is Lending to economically active poor Women under Joint Liability Group About the Role The Zonal Credit Manager manages the credit activities and processes of the Rural Credit vertical for the designated Zone which consists of multiple Regions The Zonal Credit Manager is responsible for smooth functioning of the Credit appraisal activities ensures adherence to the processes designed by the bank and manages Team Portfolio Key Responsibilities Ensuring quality in underwriting of Farmer Funding Loans within the framework of the Policy Parameters Review of the credit proposals by providing quick insight as a part of the sanctioning authority Managing the Team and ensuring adherence to defined Turn Around Time Audit compliances Ensure the quality of proposals and minimize delinquency and build portfolio of expected quality Gather market intelligence with other financial institutions to understand the market dynamics and risk trends and to use necessary information for taking credit decisions Manage Team and relationship with various functions and departments within the bank to ensure collaboration and alignment to organizational objectives Qualifications Desired Graduation Post- Graduation Post Graduate in Agri business Management MBA CA preferred from a recognized institute Role Proficiencies Knowledge of credit preferably Farmer Funding industry and product trends Knowledge of regulatory guidelines and norms Good communication both verbal and written skill in both English and the local language Skills Refer to the About Company Axis Bank is the third largest private sector bank in India The Bank offers the entire spectrum of financial services to customer segments covering Large and Mid-Corporates MSME Agriculture and Retail Businesses The Bank has a large footprint of 4 594 domestic branches including extension counters with 11 333 ATMs 5 710 cash recyclers spread across the country as on 31st March 2021 The Bank has 6 Virtual Centres and has over 1500 Virtual Relationship Managers as on 31st March 2021 The Overseas operations of the Bank are spread over eight international offices with branches at Singapore Dubai at DIFC and Gift City-IBU representative offices at Dhaka Dubai Abu Dhabi Sharjah and an Overseas subsidiary at London UK The international offices focus on Corporate Lending Trade Finance Syndication Investment Banking and Liability Businesses
