It has been more than 60 years since SYSTRA has garnered expertise that spans the entire spectrum of Mass Rapid Transit System SYSTRA India s valuable presence in India roots back to 1957 where SYSTRA worked on the electrification of Indian Railways Our technical excellence holistic approach and the tremendous talent provides a career that puts people who join us at the heart of improving transportation and urban infrastructure efficiency Understand better who we are by visiting www systra in Context In India SYSTRA is an international consulting and engineering company operating in the fields of Metros High Speed Rail Railways Roads Buildings Urban planning and Water Infrastructure for public and private organizations In India the launch of the first line of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation DMRC in 2002 put SYSTRA on the map as a key partner for mass transit lines in the country and initiated a longstanding partnership with DMRC Since then SYSTRA has been involved in more than 80 of metro projects in India in all major Indian cities - Ahmedabad Bengaluru Delhi Mumbai Pune Surat Nagpur Kochi and Hyderabad The collective team competence built up in the two decades in the metro business renders us capable of delivering innovative reliable cost-competitive Project Management solutions adhering to the highest standards of safety and quality We are seeking applications for the position of Contract Expert for PMC Service for Property Development Miscellaneous Works in Southern Region Missions Main Duties Contract Management Draft review and negotiate various types of contracts EPC Design Build FIDIC Consultancy Subcontractor Supplier Ensure all contract terms and conditions are clearly communicated and understood by relevant project teams Maintain a contracts register and track key dates milestones obligations and deliverables Claims Disputes Identify prepare and resolve contractual claims and variations including extension of time and cost claims Support dispute resolution including preparation of documentation for arbitration or legal proceedings Interface with legal counsel as necessary Compliance Risk Management Ensure compliance with local national and international regulations statutory requirements and Metro Rail standards Identify contractual risks and develop mitigation plans Support the implementation of robust contract management policies and procedures Stakeholder Communication Liaise with clients contractors consultants and internal teams regarding contractual obligations and changes Provide expert advice and training on contractual matters to project teams Documentation Reporting Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract files and correspondence Generate regular reports on contract status claims variations and other metrics for senior management Profile Skills Master s degree in civil engineering construction management Graduate in Civil Engineering or Equivalent More than 18 years of experience Ability to work within a culturally diverse organization recognizing and respecting differences Ability to problem solve especially in an integrated project delivery environment applying industry best practices Self-motivated individual with outstanding leadership skills and the ability to influence without authority We commit to put people who join us at the heart of improving transportation and urban infrastructure efficiency As we are growing this is time to be a part of this challenging adventure It s not a job - it s a career
