It has been more than 60 years since SYSTRA has garnered expertise that spans the entire spectrum of Mass Rapid Transit System SYSTRA India s valuable presence in India roots back to 1957 where SYSTRA worked on the electrification of Indian Railways Our technical excellence holistic approach and the tremendous talent provides a career that puts people who join us at the heart of improving transportation and urban infrastructure efficiency Understand better who we are by visiting www systra in Context In India SYSTRA is an international consulting and engineering company operating in the fields of Metros High Speed Rail Railways Roads Buildings Urban planning and Water Infrastructure for public and private organizations Our unique expertise is backed with a reputation built through technical excellence delivered on projects Our fully integrated services are tailored to plan and manage projects using proven best practices In India the launch of the first line of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation DMRC in 2002 put SYSTRA on the map as a key partner for mass transit lines in the country and initiated a longstanding partnership with DMRC Since then SYSTRA has been involved in more than 80 of metro projects in India in all major Indian cities - Ahmedabad Bengaluru Delhi Mumbai Pune Surat Nagpur Kochi and Hyderabad The collective team competence built up in the two decades in the metro business renders us capable of delivering innovative reliable cost-competitive Project Management solutions adhering to the highest standards of safety and quality We are seeking applications for the position of Structure Expert for PMC Service for Property Development Miscellaneous Works in Southern Region Missions Main Duties Structural Design Review Lead and oversee the structural design for viaducts bridges tunnels stations elevated and underground depots and related infrastructure Review and approve detailed design calculations drawings and specifications prepared by consultants and contractors Ensure integration of structural systems with architectural and MEP requirements Technical Assurance Ensure all structural designs comply with relevant international and local codes standards and safety requirements Conduct or oversee independent design checks and value engineering assessments Collaborate in resolving technical issues construction challenges and unforeseen site conditions Project Coordination Work closely with other discipline leads geotechnical architectural systems etc to ensure holistic and coordinated design solutions Participate in progress meetings technical workshops and design reviews with clients consultants and contractors Construction Support Provide technical guidance and support during construction including responding to site queries reviewing shop drawings and inspecting works when required Assess and approve structural modifications temporary works and construction methodologies Quality Safety Ensure that design and construction activities adhere to quality management systems and safety standards Support risk management and mitigation for all structural works Maintain accurate documentation records and reports for all structural engineering aspects Profile Skills Master s Degree in Structures Graduate in Civil Engineering or Equivalent More than 18 years of experience Ability to work within a culturally diverse organization recognizing and respecting differences Ability to problem solve especially in an integrated project delivery environment applying industry best practices We commit to put people who join us at the heart of improving transportation and urban infrastructure efficiency As we are growing this is time to be a part of this challenging adventure It s not a job - it s a career
