We are seeking applications for the position of Structure Expert for PMC Service for Property Development & Miscellaneous Works in Southern Region.

Missions/Main Duties:

• Structural Design & Review

• Lead and oversee the structural design for viaducts, bridges, tunnels, stations (elevated and underground), depots, and related infrastructure.

• Review and approve detailed design calculations, drawings, and specifications prepared by consultants and contractors.
• Ensure integration of structural systems with architectural and MEP requirements.

• Technical Assurance

• Ensure all structural designs comply with relevant international and local codes, standards, and safety requirements.

• Conduct or oversee independent design checks and value engineering assessments.
• Collaborate in resolving technical issues, construction challenges, and unforeseen site conditions.

• Project Coordination

• Work closely with other discipline leads (geotechnical, architectural, systems, etc.) to ensure holistic and coordinated design solutions.

• Participate in progress meetings, technical workshops, and design reviews with clients, consultants, and contractors.

• Construction Support

• Provide technical guidance and support during construction, including responding to site queries, reviewing shop drawings, and inspecting works when required.

• Assess and approve structural modifications, temporary works, and construction methodologies.

• Quality & Safety

• Ensure that design and construction activities adhere to quality management systems and safety standards.

• Support risk management and mitigation for all structural works.
• Maintain accurate documentation, records, and reports for all structural engineering aspects.

Profile/Skills:

• Master's Degree in Structures.
• Graduate in Civil Engineering or Equivalent.
• More than 18 years of experience.
• Ability to work within a culturally diverse organization, recognizing and respecting differences.
• Ability to problem solve, especially in an integrated project delivery environment, applying industry best practices.
