Job Description Business Function Corporate and Investment Banking provides corporate customers with a full range of commercial banking products and services, including cash management services, current accounts, time deposits, trade finance, working capital finance, term loans and foreign exchange. Job Purpose The role requires the candidate to acquire New-to-bank (NTB) customers to scale the bank's liabilities portfolio. Key Accountabilities - Sourcing prospects via cold calling, personal network, and partners/channels network. - Driving the Liabilities Sales through NTB acquisition of clients for operating accounts, term deposits and other transaction banking products in line with the defined objectives . - Updating self on various offerings available in the network. - Design and execute a marketing strategy for lead generation and business development. Required Experience - 2-3 years of sales experience preferred, with a proven understanding of the sales cycle. - Prior experience selling liability, cash management, trade finance, and foreign exchange products is desirable. - Market knowledge and experience in the Mid-market / SME segment, with reference to customer preferences and requirement is a plus. - Well versed in AML risk Education / Preferred Qualifications - Graduate or equivalent degree (with experience / understanding of banking and sales) Technical Competencies - Basic understanding of Trade and Foreign exchange banking products and associated technology platforms and operational procedures - Understanding of regulatory guidelines on banking issued by MAS and by RBI (local regulations in India) and local laws and regulations that impact businesses in general. Understanding of KYC requirements are critical. - Knowledge of financial markets and products to assist in meaningful dialogue with clients Core Competencies - Being customer-centric, not product-centric - Strong on customer and relationship management skills. - Good interpersonal and communications skills. - Ability to plan, schedule and monitor deliverables, within a stipulated time frame using effective methods
