An Inbound Telecaller is responsible for handling incoming calls from customers, clients, or prospects and providing timely assistance, information, or solutions. Unlike outbound calling, this role primarily focuses on receiving calls, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience for callers. Inbound Telecallers play a crucial role in maintaining customer satisfaction, promoting company services or products, and supporting sales or service objectives. This role requires strong communication skills, patience, problem-solving abilities, and a customer-centric approach.Key Responsibilities1. Customer Call Handling Receive incoming calls from customers, clients, or prospects in a professional manner. Address inquiries about products, services, or company policies accurately. Provide information and guidance while ensuring clarity and understanding. Document call details, customer requests, and resolutions accurately in CRM systems. 2. Issue Resolution & Support Identify customer issues and provide appropriate solutions or escalate to relevant teams when necessary. Handle complaints and concerns with patience, empathy, and professionalism. Follow up with customers to ensure issues are resolved satisfactorily. Assist clients with service activation, updates, or troubleshooting guidance. 3. Sales & Service Support Provide product or service information to interested callers. Support upselling or cross-selling initiatives where applicable. Coordinate with sales and service teams to follow up on potential leads. Promote ongoing campaigns, offers, or updates to inbound callers when appropriate. 4. Data Management & Reporting Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions in the CRM or call management system. Update customer information, track call outcomes, and log follow-up activities. Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports for management review. Provide feedback on recurring customer issues or trends to improve service quality. 5. Collaboration & Teamwork Work closely with other departments such as sales, support, operations, and marketing. Coordinate with team leaders for escalations, special requests, or complex queries. Participate in team meetings to discuss performance metrics, challenges, and improvements. 6. Adherence to Policies & Procedures Follow standard operating procedures for call handling, escalation, and documentation. Maintain compliance with company guidelines, data protection, and confidentiality policies. Uphold professional conduct and company values during all customer interactions.Required Skills & Competencies Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication and listening skills in English and local languages.
