Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sales Manager / Business Development Associate (BDA) located in Chennai. The role involves driving stall bookings, exhibitor acquisition, sponsorship sales, and client relationship management for our trade fairs and events. The Sales Manager / BDA will be responsible for: - Identifying and connecting with potential exhibitors, sponsors, and corporate clients - Generating new business through client meetings, networking, and cold calling - Building long-term relationships with industry stakeholders - Achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets for stall bookings and sponsorships - Representing the company at exhibitions, trade fairs, and client meetings - Maintaining CRM records and preparing sales reports Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field - 2–6 years of experience in B2B sales, exhibitions, events, advertising, or corporate business development - Strong negotiation, closing, and client acquisition skills - Excellent communication in English and Tamil (Hindi is an added advantage) - Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets - Good organizational and time management skills - Willingness to travel for client meetings and events
