This Position reports to:

Operations Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role you will have the opportunity to lead a team of HSE experts. Each day, you will make sure the team keeps developing capabilities and skills, supporting the business in the implementation of policies, practices and programs. You will also showcase your expertise by driving behavioral change and HSE learning within the organization.

The work model for the role is: #Li_onsite

This role is contributing to the robotics business in India. Main stakeholders are Global HSE Manager, Country HSE manager, Location HSE Manager and local division business managers.

You will be mainly accountable for:

- Supporting line managers and supervisors in the organization in understanding obligations, liabilities and requirements

- Ensuring appropriate tools and measures are in place and used effectively, at the same time reporting the HSE incidents.

- Reporting on HSE performance and progress with respect to the Group objectives

- Drive behavioral change and ensuring HSE capabilities are optimized and aligned to standards and best practices

Qualifications for the role

- Engineering graduate with a Diploma in Industrial Safety, Environmental Science or a professional HSE certification such as NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, or NEBOSH International Diploma is highly desirable.

- 8+ experience in HSE and sustainability in engineering & manufacturing set-up

- In-depth understanding of local, national, and international HSE regulations and standards.

- Strong grasp of risk assessment, incident investigation, root cause analysis, and safety audits.

- Proficiency in developing and implementing HSE policies, procedures, and training programs.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with employees, management, and regulatory authorities.
