Job Description: Senior HSE ManagerPosition OverviewThe Senior HSE Manager is a critical leadership role responsible for ensuring comprehensive Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) excellence across multiple facilities and projects within their designated cluster. This position reports directly to regional HSE leads and serves as the primary HSE champion, driving performance standards, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives in alignment with JLL's commitment to creating safe, healthy, and sustainable work environments.Key ResponsibilitiesHSE Performance ManagementMonitor, evaluate, and ensure HSE performance across all cluster facilities meets or exceeds JLL standards and regulatory requirementsDevelop and implement HSE Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track safety performanceConduct regular HSE audits, inspections, and assessments to identify risks and opportunities for improvementLead incident investigation processes and ensure corrective actions are implemented effectivelyMaintain comprehensive HSE documentation and reporting systemsClient HSE Requirements ManagementServe as primary point of contact for client HSE requirements and expectationsDevelop and maintain client-specific HSE protocols and proceduresEnsure seamless integration of client HSE standards with JLL operational practicesFacilitate regular HSE performance reviews and reporting to clientsManage client HSE compliance documentation and certification processesProject HSE Coordination - Five Phase ManagementPhase 1: Project InitiationConduct comprehensive HSE risk assessments for new projectsDevelop project-specific HSE plans and protocolsEstablish HSE resource requirements and budget considerationsPhase 2: Project PlanningCreate detailed HSE implementation strategies and timelinesCoordinate with project teams to integrate HSE requirements into project schedulesDevelop HSE training and competency requirements for project personnelPhase 3: Project ExecutionMonitor ongoing HSE performance during project deliveryConduct regular site visits and safety inspectionsEnsure compliance with all HSE protocols and proceduresManage HSE-related project communications and stakeholder updatesPhase 4: Project Monitoring & ControlTrack HSE performance against established metrics and benchmarksImplement corrective actions when performance deviates from standardsCoordinate with project managers to address HSE-related project changesPhase 5: Project ClosureConduct final HSE assessments and documentationCapture lessons learned and best practices for future projectsEnsure proper handover of ongoing HSE responsibilitiesLeadership and Team ManagementLead and mentor HSE professionals within the clusterProvide HSE training and development opportunities for team membersFoster a culture of safety excellence and environmental stewardshipCollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate HSE considerations into business decisionsRequired QualificationsEducationBachelor's degree in occupational health & safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field Master's degree preferredProfessional HSE certifications ( NEBOSH, or equivalent) requiredExperienceMinimum 12 to 15 years of HSE management experience in commercial real estate, facilities management, or related industriesProven track record of managing HSE performance across multiple sites or projectsExperience with client-facing HSE management and reportingDemonstrated experience in project-based HSE coordination and managementTechnical SkillsDeep knowledge of local, state, and federal HSE regulations and standardsProficiency in HSE management systems and software platformsStrong analytical skills with ability to interpret HSE data and metricsExperience with risk assessment methodologies and toolsKnowledge of emergency response planning and crisis managementLeadership CompetenciesExcellent communication and presentation skillsStrong leadership and team development abilitiesProven ability to influence and drive change across organizationsClient relationship management and consultation skillsProject management certification (PMP) preferredLocation: On-site –Bengaluru, KAScheduled Weekly Hours:48If this job description resonates with you, we encourage you to apply even if you don't meet all of the requirements.
