Job Title Merchandiser - E-commerce Textile IndustryLocation Your Location Experience 3-5 yearsQualification Graduate Post Graduate in Fashion Textile or Apparel from a reputed fashion college MBA in Merchandising preferred not mandatory Job Summary We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Merchandiser to join our e-commerce and textile division The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of fabrics apparel and fashion trends with proven expertise in merchandising operations for online platforms This role requires excellent coordination skills market understanding and the ability to manage end-to-end merchandising processes Key Responsibilities Product Development Sourcing - Coordinate with vendors suppliers and manufacturers for sampling and production - Ensure timely sourcing of fabrics trims and garments aligned with brand standards Merchandising Planning - Develop and execute merchandising strategies for e-commerce platforms - Plan product assortment pricing and inventory based on consumer demand and fashion trends - Work closely with design marketing and production teams to ensure product readiness Vendor Supply Chain Management - Maintain strong relationships with vendors and ensure quality compliance - Negotiate costs timelines and contracts with suppliers - Monitor production schedules to ensure timely delivery E-commerce Management - Coordinate with e-commerce team for product listings catalog shoots and launches - Monitor online sales performance stock availability and customer demand - Support in planning promotions offers and seasonal launches Market Analysis Trend Research - Conduct regular market research to stay updated with fashion trends fabrics and consumer preferences - Provide insights to strengthen product positioning and competitive edge Reporting Documentation - Prepare merchandising reports order status inventory sales supplier performance - Track and analyze sales data to support decision-making Key Skills Competencies - Strong knowledge of fabrics textiles and apparel manufacturing - Good understanding of e-commerce business models and merchandising cycles - Proficiency in MS Excel ERP tools and e-commerce portals - Strong analytical negotiation and communication skills - Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines What We Offer - A dynamic and creative work environment - Exposure to e-commerce and textile industry growth - Career development opportunities in merchandising supply chain management ref updazz com
