About Our Client

- Our client is an exciting new age brand in the food industry

Job Description

- Develop and implement export sales strategy to enter priority international markets.

- Open and grow business with global retailers, distributors, and wholesale partners.

- Manage the full export sales cycle: prospecting, pitching, negotiating, contracting, and execution.

- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, food safety standards, certifications, and labeling norms.

- Represent the company at major trade fairs, exhibitions, and international buyer meets.

- Drive sales growth while maintaining profitability and brand positioning.

- Collaborate with supply chain, product, and marketing teams to customize offerings for international markets.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Exports should have:

- Experience: 8-12 years in export sales / international business development within the FMCG / Food & Beverages sector

- Global Network: Established connects with procurement teams of major international retailers and distributors.

- Proven Track Record: Successfully opened new export markets, scaled volumes, and closed long-term agreements.

- Knowledge: Strong understanding of export documentation, trade logistics, customs, certifications (FDA, BRC, HACCP, etc.), and private label opportunities.

- Education: MBA/PGDM preferred, ideally with specialization in International Business or Marketing.

- Personality: Entrepreneurial, persuasive, excellent communicator with strong negotiation skills.

- Mobility: Willing to travel frequently overseas.
