The Sales Operations Analyst will be responsible for overseeing and executing the end-to-end sales commission process for global sales teams, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness in payouts.
The objectives for this role will be to deliver high-quality, error-free commission calculations, enhance operational efficiency through process optimization and automation, and standardize best practices across regions.
Here is how, through this exciting role, you will contribute to BMC's and your own success:
- Work closely with the GTM-O CoE, Manager and Team Lead to identify the needs and challenges of the GTM Operations Team, aiming to enhance their productivity and drive sales efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with Business Operations Managers (BOMs) to provide timely operational support, enhancing their productivity.
- Support sales operations activities such as planning, quota management, data reporting and tracking, data hygiene etc.
- Develop strong working relationships with BOMs and other stakeholders to identify operational areas to add value.
- Identify opportunities to standardize GTM-O processes, develop SOPs, and scale best practices across regions.
- Develop and maintain various reports, dashboards, and presentations; analyze data (e.g., pipeline), and provide actionable insights to enhance sales performance and efficiency.
- Manage various communications as part of initiatives involving a diverse range of stakeholders (e.g., BOMs, Sales, Finance, etc.).
- Innovate and adopt AI-driven tools and RPA platforms to automate data validation, detect anomalies, and improve payout accuracy.
To ensure you are set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:
- Proven experience (3-5 years) as a sales operations analyst or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in creating and managing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and distribute significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., SFDC) and other sales management tools.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, Tableau etc.).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of sales processes, strategies, and best practices.
- Flexible, self-motivated, and team oriented.
- General knowledge of application and sales operations tools.

- Clear and effective communicator (written and verbal) with experience managing global stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve both functional and technical issues.
- Self-driven, proactive, and quality-focused with a strong sense of ownership.
- Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to work EMEA shift hours (12:30 PM 9:30 PM IST).

At BMC we believe in pay transparency and have set the midpoint of the salary band for this role at 1,725,800 INR. Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
The salary listed is just one component of BMC's employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a variable plan and country specific benefits.
