Job Summary
As a Sales Associate, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our client base and promoting our investment services. You will organize investor education initiatives, facilitate strategic client meetings, and actively engage in fieldwork to strengthen our market presence. This role requires a proactive, relationship-driven professional with a passion for finance and sales.
Key Responsibilities
1. Investor Awareness Programs
- Plan, coordinate, and execute investor seminars, webinars, and workshops to educate prospects about the firm's offerings.
- Develop engaging presentations and marketing collateral.
- Manage event logistics, invitations, and post-event follow-ups to convert leads.
- Client Engagement & Meetings
- Identify and prospect high-potential clients (HNWIs, institutions, advisors) through research, referrals, and outreach.
- Schedule and prepare for meetings between prospects and senior management/company promoters.
- Provide post-meeting support to nurture relationships and advance deals.
- Fieldwork & Network Expansion
- Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and networking forums.
- Conduct in-person client visits to build trust and rapport.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions in the CRM system.
- Collaboration & Strategy
- Partner with marketing to align campaigns with sales goals.
- Share market insights and client feedback to refine strategies.
- Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets and KPIs (e.g., meetings booked, events hosted).
Compliance & Professional Development
- Ensure adherence to financial regulations and internal policies.
- Stay updated on industry trends, products, and competitors.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
- Experience: 2+ years in sales/business development, preferably in wealth management or financial services.
- Skills:
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Strong networking skills with a proven track record in client acquisition.
- Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of investment products (mutual funds, ETFs, portfolio management).
- Attributes: Self-motivated, adaptable, and client-centric.
