The hiring organisation is a large organisation operating in the renewable energy sector, committed to delivering sustainable energy solutions. They are a fortune 500 organisation with a very strong Brand name in the industry. They are looking to scale up the Renewable power production by 50+ GW in the near future.

Job Description

- Oversee the complete lifecycle of renewable energy projects, from planning to execution and commissioning.

- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and environmental standards during project execution.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.

- Develop and monitor project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation effectively.

- Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimise impact on project timelines.

- Drive quality assurance processes to maintain high standards in project deliverables.

- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on project progress and challenges.

- Foster a collaborative and results-oriented work environment at the project site

The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Head should have:

- 18+ years of experience in Project Management and post execution Site Management of Solar projects higher than 1GW capacity

- A degree in Engineering or a related field, preferably with a focus on renewable energy or project management.

- Proven expertise in managing large-scale energy or infrastructure projects.

- Strong knowledge of project management tools and methodologies.

- Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in the energy and natural resources industry.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a large organisation and coordinate with diverse teams.
