Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in Chennai for a Technical Sales Engineer. The Technical Sales Engineer will be responsible for identifying and pursuing sales opportunities in the industrial automation sector, managing client relationships, and providing technical expertise to support customer needs. Key tasks include conducting technical presentations, creating customized sales strategies, offering product demonstrations, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction. The role involves applying technical knowledge to solve client challenges and achieve sales targets within the assigned territory. Qualifications - Proficiency in technical sales strategies, client relationship management, and customer engagement. - Thorough knowledge of industrial automation systems, technical product knowledge, and ability to conduct product demonstrations. - Strong analytical skills to assess client requirements and provide tailored solutions. - Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to simplify complex technical concepts. - Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related fields) or a related technical discipline; equivalent technical or sales experience is advantageous. - Problem-solving mindset with adaptability to work in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. - Willingness to travel as required for on-site client engagements.
