POSITION REPORTS TO: Regional Sales Manager / Inside Sales Manager
Position Summary: We are looking to hire an enthusiastic and driven Inside Sales Specialist Representative to generate leads and drive sales. The position requires a dynamic, self-driven, confident team member who is responsible for the Laboratory, Biopharmaceutical (Biotech, Vaccines, Biologicals) products and services specific to life science within a defined territory, serving customers engaged in academic, pharmaceutical, biomedical, and other fields of research and development. You will maintain effective customer relations, develop opportunities for growth within an existing customer base, and assure market penetration and profitability while achieving sales and profit forecasts.
Essential Job Functions:
- Handle inbound and outbound sales inquiries related to laboratory and bioprocess products.
- Understand technical specifications and applications of lab equipment, reagents, and bioprocess solutions.
- Provide product recommendations based on customer needs and research applications.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and sales activities in CRM systems.
- Collaborate with technical support and product teams to resolve customer queries.
- Conduct virtual product demonstrations and webinars for prospects.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and regulatory changes.
- Generate and qualify leads through cold calling, email campaigns, and social media.
- Support field sales teams with lead nurturing and appointment setting.
- Prepare and send quotations, follow up on proposals, and close sales.
- Upsell and cross-sell complementary products and services.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and build long-term relationships.
- Stay informed about competing products and services.
- Collaborate with the marketing department to expand brand presence through marketing materials.
- Work independently while also leveraging available resources to meet customer needs.

- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications
Reminder:This is anInside Sales position (not field sales). Candidates with only field sales backgrounds will not be shortlisted.
Education & Experience Required:
- BSc/MSc in Biotech or equivalent / Engineering
- 710 years proven Inside Sales experience
