Job Summary The Head of Operations will be responsible for overseeing the hospitals operational functions ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care while maintaining efficient and effective use of resources This role requires strategic leadership operational management and the ability to foster a collaborative environment among various departments Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the hospitals vision and goals Collaborate with the executive team to drive initiatives that enhance patient care and operational efficiency Operational Management Oversee daily operations including patient flow staffing and resource allocation Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations standards and best practices Quality Assurance Implement and monitor quality improvement programs to enhance patient safety and satisfaction Analyze operational performance metrics and develop action plans for improvement Team Management Lead and mentor department managers fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability Facilitate training and professional development opportunities for staff Financial Oversight Manage the operational budget ensuring financial sustainability and cost-effectiveness Work with the finance team to identify opportunities for operational efficiencies and revenue enhancement Stakeholder Engagement Build strong relationships with physicians staff and external partners to promote a collaborative environment Act as a liaison between departments to facilitate communication and resolve operational issues Project Management Lead special projects related to operational improvements and facility enhancements Monitor progress and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget Qualifications Bachelors degree in Healthcare Administration Business Administration or a related field Masters degree preferred Minimum of 10 years of experience in healthcare operations with at least 5 years in a leadership role Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements Proven track record of improving operational efficiency and patient care outcomes Excellent communication interpersonal and leadership skills Skills Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities Strong financial acumen and budget management skills Proficiency in healthcare management software and data analysis tools Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced dynamic environment
