Job Purpose
The Regional Sales Manager for will be responsible for leading the sales team to achieve revenue targets. The role involves developing and implementing sales strategies to drive business growth, managing key accounts, building and maintaining customer relationships, and driving the sales team's performance.
Place in the Organization
The Regional Sales Manager works in the local sales team and reports to the Director, Field Implementation. This role will be based in Mumbai.
Essential Duties:
- Understand and follow Applied Medical's Quality Systems (QS) per training.
- Read, write, speak and communicate effectively with other team members, and comprehend work and safety
instructions.
- Understand and comply with safety rules and Company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, map market, gain market share
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, including expanding the End user base.
- Responsible for Team Management.
- Successful launch of new products by right execution and implementation in the area.
- Ensuring periodic validation and maintenance of customer/account data.
- Maintain Core costumer relationship to ensure continuation of business.
- Creatively plan for business opportunities in challenging territories and competition accounts.
- Manage and grow existing key accounts by building strong customer relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of medical consumables products to effectively sell to customers and prospects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and finance, to ensure alignment and achieve business objectives.
- Ensuring implementation of promotional strategies & utilization of inputs while keeping company policies in mind.
- Ensure effective distribution by proper dealer management, operations, strategies & inputs. Also ensure that channel compliance towards company policies are completely adhered.
- Strong Interpersonal skills, with focused People/Customer/Result orientation.
- Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to achieve individual and team targets
- Monitor and report on sales performance, and provide regular updates to Director Field Implementation
- Manage and appoint new channel partners to ensure coverage and reach to customers.
- Pursue contract and tender opportunities.
- Expert knowledge of product's features, benefits, correct product application and usage for sufficient service and assistance in OT environment. Thorough knowledge of customer's support for competitive products and services and develop plans to differentiate from competition.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by ensuring, end user activities, excellent service delivery and resolving customer complaints.

Qualifications
Position Requirements
- Graduate in Science or Pharmacy with bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field will be plus.
- Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership position in the medical consumables / Medical Device industry
- Strong understanding of medical consumables products and the healthcare industry
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth in medical consumables.
- Experience in managing key accounts and building customer relationships
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Experience with CRM systems and sales analytics tools
