About Company One of the leading Telecom Service ProvidersOverview The Technical Architect is a key position that reports to the Principal Architect in the IT-Ops department at Prodapt The role is responsible for designing business processes as per customer needs strategizing cloud architecture and migration and upholding Prodapt s winning values and contributing to the company s vision Roles and ResponsibilitiesImplementation of ServiceNow Modules administration improvement and support of latest ServiceNow platform Perform all aspects of Platform Administration Design Development and implementation of ServiceNow Perform minor and major enhancements requests to a clients ServiceNow instance s including changes to the user interface system properties foundation data existing workflows Extensive experience of working with ServiceNow glide objects such as GlideRecords GlideSystem GlideAggregate GlideAjax etc Facilitate roll out of new applications and modules in ServiceNowIdentify system deficiencies recommend solutions as a trusted advisor to clientsPerform ServiceNow upgrade administration assistance to ensure clients leverage of the latest releases of the ServiceNow application ensuring implementation occurs in a timely manner with minimal or no disruption to client IT operationsEnsure appropriate tools and processes are in place to have a development production environment that is reliable and reproducibleEnsure tool configuration consistency across development testing and production environmentsExperience analyzing the issue estimating the efforts and proposing solutions or prototyping Rigorously follow ServiceNow development best practices System integration experience using web services and other web-based technologies such as XML HTML AJAX CSS HTTP REST SOAPFlexible and has the ability to manage multiple projects concurrentlyDeep functional and technical knowledge of the ServiceNow and demonstrable experience with ServiceNow platform navigation administration configuration and scriptingUnderstanding of ITIL concepts and IT Service Management practices ITIL v3 certification a plus Understanding of Agile based approach to software development SCRUM experience a plus Ability to work remotely and largely unsupervised and to deliver to written requirementsRequirementsA Bachelor s degree in any field with a desired MSc BE Masters with In-depth understanding of Telecom eTOM TAM SID frameworks OSS BSS business process Telecom Domain expertise good to have but not mandatory specialization in IT Computer Science A minimum of 10-15 years of work experience Experience working in multi-channel delivery projects ServiceNow ITSM ITOM and other modules expertise in ServiceNow Location Chennai Hyderabad
