Job Overview Position: Relationship Manager Industry: Telecom, Cloud, and Enterprise Solutions Employment Type: Full-Time Location: Kochi Department: Sales & Client Success Reporting To: Sales Head / Business Development Manager Experience Level: Mid-Level / Senior-Level Key Responsibilities 1. Client Relationship Management Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring all interactions are smooth, timely, and effective. Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders. Understand client needs, pain points, and business objectives to deliver tailored telecom and cloud solutions. Ensure high client satisfaction through regular follow-ups, service quality checks, and proactive problem resolution. 2. Business Development & Revenue Growth Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within the existing client portfolio. Work closely with the sales and technical teams to recommend relevant products and services. Drive revenue growth by pitching advanced telecom solutions, including cloud telephony, unified communications, VoIP systems, and enterprise connectivity. Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. 3. Strategic Account Planning Develop account strategies to achieve long-term client retention and growth. Conduct business reviews with clients to evaluate performance, identify gaps, and introduce new solutions. Prepare client-specific proposals, presentations, and service-level agreements (SLAs). Monitor key account metrics to track success and identify improvement areas. 4. Telecom & Cloud Solutions Expertise Stay updated on latest trends and technologies in telecom, networking, and cloud computing. Work closely with the technical pre-sales team to understand solution architecture and deployment models. Educate clients on the benefits of adopting cloud-based solutions and upgrading existing telecom infrastructure. Support clients in the digital transformation journey by introducing cutting-edge solutions. 5. Cross-Functional Collaboration Liaise between clients, product teams, operations, and technical experts to ensure smooth service delivery. Provide feedback to product development teams based on client insights and requirements. Collaborate with the marketing team to design client-specific campaigns and outreach programs. 6. Customer Retention & Problem Resolution Proactively address client concerns and resolve issues to ensure service excellence. Develop client retention strategies to minimize churn and maximize renewals. Act as the voice of the client within the organization, advocating for their needs and ensuring alignment with company priorities. Required Skills & Competencies 1. Technical & Product Knowledge Understanding of telecom services, including voice, data, and connectivity solutions. Knowledge of cloud technologies, such as SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, VoIP, cloud telephony, and unified communications. Ability to translate technical solutions into business value for clients. 2. Relationship-Building Skills Exceptional interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with clients. Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across different levels of an organization. Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities. 3. Sales & Business Acumen Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Understanding of B2B sales cycles and enterprise account management. Ability to identify new business opportunities and convert leads into long-term clients. 4. Soft Skills Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Effective time management and ability to prioritize tasks.
