Key Responsibilities - Ownmonth-end close, accruals, reconciliations, adjusting journal entries, and reporting. - Serve asprimary audit liaison; maintain audit-ready schedules and controls. - ReconcileSuspense/Clearing accountsand implement preventive control policies. - Overseecross-border payments, tax treatment, and documentation for VC operations. - Manage workflows inNetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar ERPs; build and improve finance processes. Mandatory 48-Hour Practical Test (Shortlisted candidates only) - 1-pageMonth-End Close Checklistfor a 5-person VC-backed firm - 3 Adjusting Journal Entries(with workings) from a provided Trial Balance - Reconciliationof a Suspense Clearing account + proposed policy - 250400 word memooncross-border payment tax/treatmentfor VC firms Must-Have Qualifications - 7+ years accounting experience;3+ years in a senior role(Manager/Controller/VP Finance) - Big 4 experience,US education, or experience in aVC / VC-backed / PEenvironment - StrongExcel, reconciliations, external audit, and financial controls background - Experience withNetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar ERP systems - Excellentwritten and spoken English; available forEU + US-time calls - Reliable internet; proven ability to work independently in a remote setup
