Position Summary The Sales Manager will be responsible for managing the complete sales cycle - from handling new project enquiries and tender specifications to order finalization billing and payment collection The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between customers technical operations and factory teams to ensure smooth order execution and customer satisfaction Roles Responsibilities - Manage inquiries for new projects regular customer requests and GeM tenders ensuring timely and accurate responses - Coordinate with the Sr GM - Regional Operations Erection and Technical teams to finalize product rates erection charges and tender specifications - Prepare and submit technical and commercial offers follow up with customers through visits calls and emails to track offer status - Finalize orders and forward supply details to Cheyyar Works coordinating with the CAD Department for BOQ preparation and approvals - Oversee material arrangements by liaising with the factory Purchase and Logistics teams to ensure timely dispatches - Manage customer payments-including advance collection billing and follow-up for final balance payments - Prepare and maintain order booking billing collection budgets and lost order records for reporting and performance tracking Qualifications Skills - Bachelor s degree in Engineering Business Administration or a related field - 5-8 years of experience in industrial or project-based sales preferably in fabrication mechanical or heavy engineering - Strong communication and negotiation skills - Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with GeM portal operations - Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams effectively - Willingness to travel as required ref updazz com
