Job Description Business Development Manager - Client Acquisition (Remote, India) About The Opportunity A remote-first player in the global professional services and talent marketplace sector, operating at the intersection of freelance staffing, consulting marketplaces and B2B service delivery. We connect enterprises with specialised talent and managed services, scaling engagements via digital-first sales motion and platform-enabled delivery. Role & Responsibilities - Own full sales cycle for new client acquisition across mid-market and enterprise accountsprospect, qualify, pitch, negotiate and close deals. - Build and manage a high-quality pipeline using targeted outbound strategies (ABM, cold outreach, LinkedIn engagement) to consistently meet quota. - Develop tailored proposals and commercial models in collaboration with solutions & delivery teams to align scope, pricing and SLAs. - Negotiate commercial terms and contracts; hand off seamlessly to operations for onboarding and ensure smooth time-to-value. - Maintain accurate forecasting and opportunity hygiene in CRM; drive sales process improvements and adopt best-practice playbooks. - Represent the business in client meetings, industry forums and partner initiatives to expand network and generate strategic pipeline. Skills & Qualifications Must-Have - Proven track record of closing B2B/enterprise deals in services, staffing or platform-led business models. - Experience running outbound prospecting and account-based selling programs that generate qualified pipeline. - Strong commercial acumen with demonstrable success in proposal design, pricing and contract negotiation. - Hands-on experience with CRM tools, deal forecasting and sales analytics to manage quota-driven targets. - Comfortable working fully remote with self-driven ownership, asynchronous collaboration and stakeholder management. - Excellent presentation skills for C-suite and executive-level client engagement. Preferred - Experience selling freelance talent, consulting services, or managed-service engagements. - Familiarity with platform-led marketplaces or SaaS-enabled service models. - Track record of building partnerships or channel relationships that drove revenue growth.
