We are seeking an experienced Works Manager / Service Head for our established firm specializing in commercial vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in service management, demonstrating leadership and operational excellence to drive our service department towards achieving high standards of customer satisfaction and efficiency.

Responsibilities

- Oversee the service department operations for commercial vehicles to ensure high standards of service delivery.
- Manage a team of technicians and service advisors, providing training and guidance to enhance their skills.
- Develop and implement service policies and procedures to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and analyze service metrics to identify areas for improvement and ensure targets are met.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all service operations.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing their needs and concerns effectively.
- Collaborate with the sales team to promote service offerings and enhance customer loyalty.

Skills and Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field.
- 15-25 years of experience in service management within the commercial vehicle sector.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in vehicle diagnostics and repair processes.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to vehicle service and maintenance.
- Experience with inventory management and service software systems.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
