Roles and Responsibilities: VBA Developer / Advanced Excel Analyst

- Participate actively in project planning, progress updates, and review sessions.
- Develop and maintain VBA code to connect Excel with external data sources such as SQL databases.
- Automate workflows by integrating Excel with other Office applications (e.g., Outlook).
- Cleanse, validate, and transform large datasets using advanced Excel formulas and VBA scripting.
- Consolidate and integrate data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and readiness for analysis.
- Design and build custom Excel user forms and interactive interfaces using VBA.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing VBA macros and Excel models.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective data solutions.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate regular reports to track business metrics.
- Implement robust error handling and design intuitive, user-friendly Excel tools.
- Ensure compliance with data governance policies, privacy regulations, and industry best practices.
- Provide end-user support and conduct training sessions to enhance adoption and usability.

Candidate Profile:

- 4 to 7 years of proven experience in VBA development and advanced Excel functionalities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams, managing relationships with both business and technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of SQL, Power BI, and insurance domain experience (claims, underwriting) is an advantage.
