About the Role We are looking for a Logistics Manager to oversee and optimize all aspects of our company’s supply chain and logistics operations. The role involves managing warehousing, transportation, and distribution while ensuring timely, cost-effective, and efficient delivery of goods. Key Responsibilities - Plan, manage, and coordinate all logistics operations including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management. - Develop and implement logistics strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs. - Ensure timely delivery of goods to customers and internal departments. - Manage vendor and carrier relationships to ensure optimal service levels. - Monitor logistics performance metrics and prepare regular reports for management. - Oversee order processing, shipment scheduling, and tracking systems. - Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and safety regulations. - Collaborate with procurement, production, and sales teams to align logistics with overall business goals. - Handle customs documentation and regulatory compliance for imports/exports (if applicable). - Supervise and train logistics staff, drivers, and warehouse personnel. Required Skills & Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. - Strong understanding of inventory control, warehousing, and transportation management. - Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and MS Excel. - Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and leadership abilities. Preferred Skills - Certification in Supply Chain or Logistics (e.g., APICS, CSCP, CPIM, or Six Sigma). - Experience with international shipping and customs procedures. - Familiarity with route optimization software or TMS/WMS platforms. - Exposure to Lean or Just-In-Time (JIT) inventory methods.
