About the RoleWe are looking for a Logistics Manager to oversee and optimize all aspects of our company’s supply chain and logistics operations. The role involves managing warehousing, transportation, and distribution while ensuring timely, cost-effective, and efficient delivery of goods.Key Responsibilities- Plan, manage, and coordinate all logistics operations including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.- Develop and implement logistics strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.- Ensure timely delivery of goods to customers and internal departments.- Manage vendor and carrier relationships to ensure optimal service levels.- Monitor logistics performance metrics and prepare regular reports for management.- Oversee order processing, shipment scheduling, and tracking systems.- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and safety regulations.- Collaborate with procurement, production, and sales teams to align logistics with overall business goals.- Handle customs documentation and regulatory compliance for imports/exports (if applicable).- Supervise and train logistics staff, drivers, and warehouse personnel.Required Skills & Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.- Strong understanding of inventory control, warehousing, and transportation management.- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and MS Excel.- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.- Strong communication and leadership abilities.Preferred Skills- Certification in Supply Chain or Logistics (e.g., APICS, CSCP, CPIM, or Six Sigma).- Experience with international shipping and customs procedures.- Familiarity with route optimization software or TMS/WMS platforms.- Exposure to Lean or Just-In-Time (JIT) inventory methods.
