About the RoleWe are looking for aLogistics Managerto oversee and optimize all aspects of our company’s supply chain and logistics operations. The role involves managing warehousing, transportation, and distribution while ensuring timely, cost-effective, and efficient delivery of goods.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, manage, and coordinate all logistics operations including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.Develop and implement logistics strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.Ensure timely delivery of goods to customers and internal departments.Manage vendor and carrier relationships to ensure optimal service levels.Monitor logistics performance metrics and prepare regular reports for management.Oversee order processing, shipment scheduling, and tracking systems.Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and safety regulations.Collaborate with procurement, production, and sales teams to align logistics with overall business goals.Handle customs documentation and regulatory compliance for imports/exports (if applicable).Supervise and train logistics staff, drivers, and warehouse personnel.Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree inLogistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field .Strong understanding ofinventory control, warehousing, and transportation management .Proficiency inERP systems(SAP, Oracle, or similar) andMS Excel .Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and leadership abilities.Preferred SkillsCertification inSupply Chain or Logistics(e.g., APICS, CSCP, CPIM, or Six Sigma).Experience withinternational shippingandcustoms procedures .Familiarity withroute optimization softwareorTMS/WMS platforms .Exposure toLean or Just-In-Time (JIT)inventory methods.
