We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Closing Manager to oversee the closing process for second home real estate transactions The ideal candidate will ensure smooth efficient closings managing all necessary documentation communication with all parties involved and compliance with legal and financial regulations This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in real estate closings and a passion for the second home market Key Responsibilities Manage Closing Process Oversee all aspects of the closing process for second home transactions ensuring that each deal progresses smoothly from contract to final closing Coordinate with Clients and Agents Serve as the primary point of contact for buyers sellers agents title companies mortgage lenders and attorneys throughout the closing process Document Preparation and Review Prepare review and verify closing documents including purchase agreements deeds closing disclosures and settlement statements to ensure accuracy and compliance Compliance Legal Requirements Ensure all transactions meet legal requirements and industry regulations Keep up to date with local state and federal real estate laws Problem Resolution Proactively address any issues or concerns that may arise during the closing process including title issues financing delays or discrepancies in the paperwork Client Communication Provide clients with regular updates and clear instructions on what to expect at each stage of the closing process Coordinate with Lenders Communicate closely with mortgage lenders and financial institutions to confirm all financing is in place for second home buyers Schedule and Facilitate Closings Schedule closing dates and locations ensuring all parties involved can attend Facilitate final walkthroughs and ensure all documents are executed properly at the closing table Post-Closing Follow-Up Ensure all post-closing documentation and steps are completed including recording deeds and transferring ownership Team Collaboration Work closely with the sales team title company legal counsel and other relevant parties to ensure seamless transactions Reporting Maintain accurate records of all closings and prepare reports for senior management on a regular basis Qualifications Experience At least 3-5 years of experience in real estate closings preferably in second homes or vacation property transactions Knowledge Strong knowledge of real estate transaction processes including legal financial and regulatory requirements for second homes Skills Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients agents and vendors Ability to handle high-pressure situations and solve problems quickly Familiarity with closing software and technology platforms Proficiency in MS Office Suite Word Excel Outlook and relevant real estate tools Education A degree in business real estate or a related field is preferred Certifications Real Estate License if required by jurisdiction or notary certification is a plus Key Attributes Problem Solver Ability to anticipate potential issues and proactively address them to ensure a smooth closing process Detail-Oriented Must have strong attention to detail and the ability to manage complex paperwork accurately Client-Focused Must have a customer service mindset ensuring clients feel informed and confident throughout the closing process Adaptable Ability to handle multiple transactions at once and adjust to the unique needs of second-home buyers Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 30 000 00 - 60 000 00 per month Work Location In person
