About the Role:
We are seeking a results-oriented B2B Sales Manager to drive business development in the rapidly growing Indian fintech sector. This role focuses on acquiring, managing, and expanding strategic partnerships-primarily with mutual fund distributors, wealth managers, and financial advisory firms. The ideal candidate is a driven, tech-savvy sales professional with a strong track record in B2B SaaS or financial services sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and engage prospective B2B clients (mutual fund distributors, RIAs, wealth advisors, financial institutions).
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation, demo presentations, pitching, negotiating, and closing deals.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with key accounts.
- Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Conduct product demonstrations tailored to client business needs, highlighting value propositions such as AI-powered analytics, client dashboards, and workflow automation.
- Collaborate with product and marketing teams to refine sales collateral, pitch decks, and positioning.
- Provide client feedback and market intelligence to product teams for continuous enhancement.
- Represent the company at industry events, webinars, and conferences to generate leads and build brand presence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 4-8 years B2B sales experience, preferably in SaaS, fintech, investment/wealth management, or financial products.
- Proven track record in achieving sales quotas in complex, solution-based B2B sales.
- Strong understanding of the mutual fund/wealth management ecosystem and distributor workflows in India.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Skilled at stakeholder management and relationship-building.
- Self-motivated, outcome-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced startup or growth-stage environment.
- Ability to travel as required for client meetings and industry events.
Preferred Attributes:
- Experience selling to financial distributors, RIAs, or wealth management firms.
- Knowledge of Indian regulatory requirements (SEBI/RBI), KYC/AML processes, and digital financial products.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Ability to adapt to both in-person and virtual sales environments.
