Job Description Role Overview The Business Development Executive will support the agency's growth by identifying new business opportunities, assisting in client acquisition, and helping build strong relationships with existing and prospective clients. The role requires strong research, communication, and coordination skills, along with a keen understanding of marketing and brand dynamics. Key Responsibilities 1. Business Growth & Strategy Support - Assist in developing and executing business growth initiatives aimed at achieving revenue and client satisfaction goals. - Conduct detailed market and competitor research to identify potential business opportunities and emerging industry trends. - Support outreach efforts - including building prospect lists, preparing outreach communication, and tracking engagement progress. - Assist in preparing impactful pitch decks, proposals, and case studies for prospective clients in collaboration with internal teams. - Maintain updated records of leads, prospects, and business opportunities in the tracking system. 2. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management - Support in scheduling and coordinating meetings, calls, and presentations with potential clients. - Participate in pitch discussions and presentations, ensuring clear articulation of the agency's offerings and value proposition. - Assist in onboarding new clients by coordinating with internal departments to ensure a smooth transition and timely delivery of initial commitments. - Collect and organize client feedback to help refine pitches, proposals, and business strategies. 3. Account Mining & Competitive Insights - Identify potential opportunities for upselling or cross-selling within existing accounts in coordination with account managers. - Stay informed on industry activities, competitor movements, and category trends to support strategic recommendations and lead generation. 4. Coordination & Documentation - Collaborate with internal creative, strategy, and finance teams to gather inputs for business development materials. - Maintain updated trackers, reports, and documentation of all outreach and follow-up activities. - Ensure all BD deliverables, including decks, reports, and proposals, are completed accurately and within deadlines. 5. Continuous Learning & Market Awareness - Keep abreast of advertising, digital marketing, and communication trends to support solution-oriented conversations with clients. - Participate in internal brainstorming and ideation sessions for business pitches and campaign proposals. - Proactively seek learning opportunities to improve presentation, research, and negotiation skills. Qualifications & Skills - Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. - 13 years of experience in business development, client servicing, or marketing (agency experience preferred). - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and CRM or lead management tools. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. - Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment. - Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to contribute to the team's success.
