Job Description Location: Mumbai, In-office Employment Type: Full-Time Department: Business Development Job Summary: We are looking for a proactive Business Development Officer to support our ghostwriting, publishing, and book marketing services. The role focuses on identifying potential authors, entrepreneurs, and professionals, initiating conversations, and scheduling meetings for our senior consultants. This is a client-facing coordination role that requires excellent communication, research skills, and the ability to build initial trust with prospects. Key Responsibilities: Research and identify prospective clients (authors, entrepreneurs, thought leaders) Conduct initial outreach (calls, emails, LinkedIn, etc.) to introduce our services Qualify leads and schedule meetings with senior consultants for detailed discussions Maintain accurate client information, pipelines, and follow-up schedules in CRM/internal tools Assist in preparing client briefs, and background research for senior team Track outreach activities and share weekly reports on meetings scheduled Stay updated on industry trends in publishing, ghostwriting, and author branding Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Publishing, or related field 02 years of experience in business development, client coordination, or lead generation Strong verbal and written communication in English Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple follow-ups Comfortable using CRM tools, Excel, and outreach platforms.
