We are seeking a highly motivated Area Sales Manager to oversee sales operations in the rice industry across India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales management, a deep understanding of the rice market, and the ability to drive growth through effective strategies and relationship management.

Responsibilities

- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase market share in the rice industry.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in assigned territories.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key accounts.
- Conduct market research and analysis to understand customer needs and competition.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations to clients and stakeholders.
- Monitor sales performance and prepare reports for upper management.
- Train and support sales team to achieve targets and improve performance.

Skills and Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Agriculture, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the FMCG or agricultural sector.
- Strong understanding of the rice industry and market dynamics in India.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to analyze data and market trends to make informed decisions.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
