Hi All We are having urgent opening for GM Sales with one of our client ChennaiLocation Chennai Job Overview As the General Manager specializing in Government Sales and Liaison you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth by promoting and selling our fire and disaster response products and technologies to government departments This position requires a candidate with a proven track record in government sales strong liaisoning skills and a deep understanding of the tender process Responsibilities 1 Government Sales - Identify and target government agencies for the sale of fire and disaster response products - Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed sales targets 2 Liaisoning - Establish and maintain effective communication channels with government authorities - Navigate government procurement processes and build strong relationships to facilitate business opportunities 3 Tender Management - Lead the preparation and submission of tenders ensuring compliance with all requirements - Coordinate with internal teams to gather necessary information for tender documentation -Make sure payment is received against order -Follow-up with authorities for BG EMD etc 4 Market Analysis - Stay informed about government policies regulations and upcoming projects relevant to our product line - Conduct market research to identify potential clients and market trends 5 Client Relationship Management - Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers in government departments - Provide excellent customer service and address client inquiries - Coordinate with all stakeholders 6 Sales Reporting - Generate regular sales reports detailing activities achievements and future plans - Provide insights to the leadership team on market trends and competitor activities Qualifications 1 Experience - Minimum of 15 years of experience in government sales and liaisoning - Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a similar role 2 Education - Bachelors degree in Business Sales or a related field 3 Skills - Strong understanding of government procurement processes and tendering - Excellent negotiation communication and interpersonal skills -Should be fluent in Tamil and English language - Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team - Familiarity with fire and disaster response products or related technologies is a plus 4 Networking - Established network within government circles is highly desirable 5 Result-Oriented - Demonstrated ability to drive sales and achieve results - KRAs and KPIs will be established to measure success in this role - Open to travel on need basis depending on lead generation 6 Perks and Benefits CTC 18 - 24 Lacs Annual including 20 Monthly Variable Performance Linked Incentive maximum of 1 on annual sales Medical Insurance For whole Family Deferred Compensation Policy All Saturday off except for monthly sales review meeting Company Laptop and IPhone 14 for official work If interested please send updated resume on gareema awasthi cielhr com
