We are currently seeking a Software Development Specialist Advisor to join our team in Noida, Uttar Pradesh (IN-UP), India (IN).

Mainframe Developer With 8- 16 Years Of Experience

Job Duties and Responsibilities Include:

- Builds thorough understanding of clients business, technology and process needs
- Identification of GAPs and enhancing the development procedures as per client / product requirements
- Working with Program management team in schedule preparation, tracking and estimation
- Create a flexible technical design that is scalable and reusable
- Creation of Technical specification based on Business requirements
- Development of re-usable reconciliation procedures
- Allocate and guide the team from Kick off to Go live of projects
- Assisting Pre-sales team in dev related RFPs
- Promote teamwork and culture of accountability
- Co-Ordinate with onshore and offshore resources and guide team members as required
- Identifies opportunities for process and procedure enhancements to drive efficiency and customer service levels

Basic, Required Qualifications:

- Minimum eight years of experience in Life Insurance domain
- Minimum eight years of experience in programming and debugging using COBOL, JCL, VSAM and CICS technologies

Other Desired Qualifications:

- LOMA Certification is preferred
- Experience in SDLC lifecycle in waterfall and agile methodologies
- Experience in translating Business requirements and Gaps into Technical specifications
- Working knowledge on JAVA, Shell Scripting and Linux is an added advantage
- Education Qualification - Graduates with Min. of 12+4 Campus Education (BE / M.Sc / MCA)
