and TITLE Accounts Payable Analyst IIWHAT YOULL DO The Accounts Payable Analyst is responsible for managing the company s accounts payable processes including invoice input and generation of disbursements as well as other assigned general accounting responsibilities The ability to work both independently and within a team in a fast-paced high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness is critical This role will report to the Manager Accounting and will be based in India This role may need to work remotely with US EST time zone during closing time two weeks out the month Oversee daily accounts payable tasks including coding and entering AP invoices into Workday and ensuring all invoices are coded accurately and appropriately approved Coordinate with Procurement group on vendors purchase orders and receipt Initiate ACH payments to employees and vendors Review expense reports including matching receipts checking expenses for reasonableness and adherence to expense policy verifying appropriate levels of approval and reviewing coding in Workday Evaluate and reconcile all vendor statements and manage all inquiries Assist with AP reporting and analysis on a monthly basis Work closely with other Finance team members and cross-functional departments such as Sales FP A and Professional Services Perform ad-hoc analyses as necessary to support other business functions WHAT YOUVE DONE REQUIRED 1 years experience in Accounting or Finance field Work remotely with US EST time zone during closing time and as needed PREFERRED Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Business Administration or similar field Experience with large ERP systems Workday Salesforce FloQast Experience working in a US-based global company or similar industry Knowledge Skills Abilities Behaviors Excellent analytical skills with the ability to gather analyze and interpret data to support decision-making and program design Strong financial and operating accounting skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex information to diverse audiences Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks simultaneously and manage incoming deliverables Ability to work successfully both independently and in a team environment Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy Intermediate Microsoft Office skills including strong Excel skillset Capability to actively seek out stay informed about and adapt to emerging developments innovations and trends relevant to Finance and Accounting WHAT ADDITIONAL INFORMATION YOU MAY WANT TO KNOW Location Remote India Special Work Hours Must be able to work on EST during compliance dates Travel 0-10 Work Authorization Legally authorized to work in the country of the job location WHAT WE STAND FOR Our global company celebrates leverages the differences each employee brings to the table Our success is a direct result of an inclusive culture where opportunities to learn from one another occur regardless of title seniority or background This collaborative and team-oriented approach is at the core of how we operate and continuously improve our products services and systems As such Duck Creek is committed to providing equal opportunity to all employees and applicants -
