About The Role
We are looking for a proactive and experienced Assistant Facilities Manager to oversee day-to-day facilities operations at our school in Devanahalli. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing facilities in an educational institution, ensuring a safe, secure, and well-maintained environment for students, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing the overall facilities operations of the school including building maintenance, housekeeping, transport, and security.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with health, safety, and statutory regulations.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers for timely completion of maintenance and repair work.
- Support in budget planning and cost control for facilities-related expenses.
- Supervise housekeeping, security, and support staff to maintain high operational standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of school premises to ensure smooth functioning of infrastructure and utilities.
- Provide support in planning, setup, and logistics for school events and activities.
- Report to the Facilities Manager and support in implementing process improvements.
Requirements
- Minimum 4+ years of experience as a Facilities Executive in a school environment in Bangalore.
- Must be currently residing in Bangalore and willing to travel daily to Devanahalli.
- Strong knowledge of facility operations, maintenance, and vendor management.
- Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Immediate joiners preferred.
