Overview Cvent is a leading meetings events and hospitality technology provider with more than 4 800 employees and nearly 22 000 customers worldwide Founded in 1999 the company delivers a comprehensive event marketing and management platform for event professionals and offers software solutions to hotels special event venues and destinations to help them grow their group MICE and corporate travel business The DNA of Cvent is our people and our culture has an emphasis on fostering intrapreneurship a system that encourages Cventers to think and act like individual entrepreneurs and empowers them to act embrace risk and make decisions as if they had founded the company themselves We foster an environment that promotes agility which means we don t have the luxury to wait for perfection At Cvent we value the diverse perspectives that each individual brings Whether working with a team of colleagues or with clients we ensure that we foster a culture that celebrates differences and builds shared connections In This Role You Will 1 Sales Leadership Strategy Lead motivate and manage a team of Sales Executives to achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets Support the development and execution of regional or segment-specific sales strategies Oversee daily sales operations including pipeline management forecasting and performance tracking Identify new business opportunities and key accounts to expand market presence Partner with Marketing and Product teams to align campaigns and solutions with customer needs 2 Team Management Coaching Set clear goals KPIs and activity plans for each team member Conduct regular performance reviews provide feedback and identify development opportunities Coach team members on consultative selling negotiation and account management skills Foster a culture of collaboration accountability and continuous improvement 3 Client Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners Support the team in high-value negotiations and deal closures Ensure timely resolution of client issues and maintain high levels of satisfaction Represent the company at client meetings industry events and networking opportunities 4 Reporting Insights Track sales performance and provide regular reports to leadership on revenue pipeline health and team productivity Analyze sales trends market dynamics and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities Contribute to quarterly business reviews and planning sessions Here s What You Need Qualifications Experience Bachelor s degree in business Marketing or a related field MBA preferred 8 years of experience in B2B sales with at least 2-3 years in a people management role Proven track record of leading a sales team and achieving revenue targets Strong communication leadership and negotiation skills Experience using CRM tools Salesforce HubSpot etc and data-driven decision-making Key Competencies Strategic thinking with strong execution focus Team leadership and coaching ability Customer-centric and results-oriented mindset Analytical and data-driven approach Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced environment
