Company Description Two Brothers Organic Farms TBOF is an Indian organic food company and a direct-to-consumer e-commerce brand founded by brothers Ajinkya and Satyajit Hange Both founders left their corporate careers to return to their family s farm in Bhodani village Maharashtra and practice regenerative organic farming The company was started in 2012 Designation Chief Financial Officer CFO Location Pune Reporting to To the Co-founders Ajinkya and Satyajit Hange Role Overview CFO who will serve as a strategic business partner to the founders while ensuring strong financial discipline and operational controls The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of startups business finance financial controllership and regulatory compliance with a demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams in fast-paced environments Directly Responsible for Financial health of the company including designing policies and SOPs and implementation to ensure proper accounting book keepings and strategic use of funds Ensuring implementation of proper tools for long term sustainability like IT systems and proper visibility AOP and other finance related Planning Managing controlling and reporting s Strategic planning Commercials -Job costings negotiations unit economics ABC costing etc Driving Revenue and cost management through better analytics and focus upon profitability of the organisation MIS to support all the stake holders with areas of focus and improve productivity efficiencies synergies Important would be to work closely with all the key leadership team specifically with the promoter and PE assigned person in the company to drive strategy and help creating a good culture of highest degree of integrity and Transparency Lead the end-to-end IPO readiness journey driving financial operational legal and governance transformation Responsibilities Manage all accounting operations including billing A R A P GL Cost accounting Inventory accounting revenue recognition Co-ordinate and prepare budget and forecast and report variance Lead business finance and support sales supply chain and production team in projections and conversion working out the right lever of product mix geography mix etc including cost optimization plans Prepare and analyze and submit timely monthly financial statements Regulatory reports and tax compliances Monthly quarterly yearly end closure of books of account Tax filling assessment if required Coordinate tax audit and all other audits Develop and documents business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen Internal controls All aspects of financial control and management Corporate accounting Liaison with banks Managing all accounting records Ensure accuracy of accounts and finance information Preparation of robust MIS framework for Management and investors Fund planning Maintain discipline of timely payment to creditors Maintain and monitor timely collection from debtors Hands-on Costing Monitor expenditure and G P N P Investment of surplus funds and monitoring returns risk Co-ordinate to control of inventory Requirements Required Skills and Experience 12 to 15 years experience in similar role Must have worked in a startup ecosystem with PE exposure Any form of manufacturing experience is a must Experience in leading a team of 15-20 people is required Strong Experience in ERP systems is required Strong finance background with experience in applicable GAAP IndAS India Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Good knowledge of GST TDS Income Tax Forex and other local regulations Strong interpersonal skills and can lead through influence and persuasion Strong ability in multitasking and prioritization Ability to work effectively in a diverse organization Operate on a flexible schedule when demand is high Spearheading entire functions of finance and accounting corporate planning and budgeting financial and business strategies Month closing cash flow and funding requirement financial reporting cost of funds cost optimization optimal capital structure and risk management
