Role Overview As a Presales IT Expert at Symphonize, you will be the driving force behind business growth from lead generation to closing major (logo) clients, while operating in a US timezone shift. You will own the entire presales lifecycle, act as a trusted advisor to prospects, design technical solutions, and lead RFP/RFI responses. You will also help define and institutionalize sales processes for both IT services and product lines. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role meant for a self-starter with strong technical, sales, and business development acumen. Key Responsibilities 1. Lead Generation & Business Development - Identify and prospect new business opportunities (both inbound and outbound) in the US market. - Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of prospects. - Engage with prospects to understand their strategic needs, pain points, and business drivers. - Qualify opportunities rigorously and prioritize those with high potential. 1. Presales Solutioning & Technical Engagement - Collaborate with potential clients to gather detailed technical/business requirements. - Architect technical solutions (IT services and product) aligned to customer needs. - Create and deliver persuasive product/service demos, proof-of-concepts (POCs), and workshops. Proposal & RFP / RFI Management - Lead the preparation of responses to RFPs, RFIs, and other procurement documents. Account Management - Act as a trusted advisor for assigned accounts nurture relationships, understand future needs, and drive expansion. - Collaborate with delivery and product teams to ensure smooth hand-off post deal closure. Unicommerce - Monitor and drive customer satisfaction, provide feedback to internal teams, and identify upsell or cross-sell opportunities. 1. Process Definition & Sales Enablement - Help define and implement a structured presales process / playbook across the organization (for both services and product lines). - Develop reusable assets: presales collateral, demo scripts, POC templates, case studies, and competitive analyses. Market & Competitor Analysis - Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive offerings. Required Qualifications & Skills - Experience: 612 years in presales, business development, solutions consulting, or similar roles (IT services/products). - Technical background: Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud, SaaS, or related technologies. - Presales expertise: Proven track record in RFP/RFI response, POC design and delivery, technical solution architecture. TTG - Sales mindset: Demonstrated ability to generate leads, engage prospects, and drive deals to closure. - Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication able to present to technical and C-level stakeholders. Indeed - Analytical skills: Strong ability to analyze business needs, map to technical solutions, and present ROI / TCO. - Interpersonal: Ability to build trusted relationships, collaborate cross-functionally, and lead without direct authority. - Organizational skills: High degree of ownership; experience managing multiple presales projects, bid teams, and deadlines. - Tools: Experience with CRM, proposal tools, project management tools, and sales enablement platforms. - Flexibility: Comfortable working in the US shift (time-zone alignment). Preferred (Bonus) - Prior experience in government / public-sector RFPs / tenders. - Experience in setting up or scaling presales processes in an organization. - Exposure to both service-based and product-based business models. - MBA or equivalent business qualification.
