We are seeking a skilled Service Desk & Desktop Engineer to join our team in Mumbai/Navi Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have 1-6 years of experience in the job market context of India and possess a strong technical background in IT support, troubleshooting, and problem-solving. The candidate will be responsible for providing first-level technical support to end-users, maintaining hardware and software, and ensuring that all systems are running smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person
- Maintain and troubleshoot hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, and printers
- Install, configure, and update operating systems and software applications
- Assist with user account management and access control
- Ensure that all systems are running smoothly and efficiently
- Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex technical issues
- Maintain accurate documentation of all support activities
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 1-6 years of experience in IT support and desktop engineering
- Strong technical knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and desktop hardware components
- Experience with Active Directory, Exchange Server, and network protocols
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- ITIL Foundation Certification is a plus
